INFLUENCE OF HEAT AND MASS EXCHANGE IN A LIQUID RING VACUUM PUMP ON ITS WORKING CHARACTERISTICS
A mathematical model of the compression of gases in a liquid ring vacuum pump has been developed. This model was realized in the environment of the universal computational ChemCad program in the multicomponent formulation with no limitation on the number of phases occurring in the working space of the pump. The adequacy of the model proposed was confi rmed by the processing of numerous experimental data, and it can be directly integrated into the ChemCad environment or can be used independently for determining the infl uence of the processes of heat and mass exchange in a liquid ring vacuum pump on its working characteristics.
