ACCURATE CALCULATIONS OF THE HEAT CAPACITIES OF PURE METALS USING THE EINSTEIN–DEBYE APPROXIMATION
We propose a new algorithm for accurate calculation of the temperature dependence of the heat capacity of pure metals. The analytical approach is based on the combination of the Einstein and Debye models. The Einstein–Debye approximation is applied successfully for evaluating the heat capacities of the metals Cu and Al which are often used in electric motor technologies as winding materials and in other industrial engineering fields. The proposed approach has been tested by comparing the obtained results with the available analytical and experimental data. This approach can improve the evaluation of electric motor winding heat losses
